The effulgence of CURRY IS THICKER THAN WATER, Jasmine D’Costa’s first collection of stories, is so rewarding to read, so allegorical and at the same time, so philosophical, that it heralds the confidence I have in this young writer, who has laid down the geography of a narrative that is so gripping, as it introduces me, to the other broad, new ethnicity in Canada’s literary landscape; and it is made all the more effulgent, by its multi-cultural point of view.
